Calving Front

The Nordenskjöld Glacier flows into Cumberland East Bay on the Antarctic Island of South Georgia. Icebergs calved from the glacier drift down the bay and past the British Antarctic Survey base at King Edward Point. Sheridan Peak pushes through the upper reaches of the glacier.
